Supporting Women’s Enterprise - Advise

Introduction
Following the publication of the Women’s Enterprise Strategic Framework in May, the SBS’s Ethnic Minority & Women’s Enterprise Unit (EMWEU) is seeking to contract self-employed advisers, with expertise in women’s enterprise development, for an initial period of six months.

The key objective of the positions is to assist the EMWEU in implementing the Framework’s priorities and targets, particularly at a regional level. It is likely that the positions will be for a minimum of 3\4 days per month.

Role Description
A detailed role description is attached and workplans will be developed on the basis of individual skills and experience, geographical requirements and regional priorities.

Contract Fee
A negotiable daily rate will be paid, dependent on experience and background. Travel and subsistence expenses will be paid as appropriate.

Location
The location of the work will be dependent on agreed regional priorities, but significant travel within the English regions will be required. There will also be occasional London-based meetings.

Communications
Access to email, the Internet and a mobile phone are essential.
