Volunteer Internship in Learning and Development

Expenses paid Volunteer Internship (travel and subsistence)

28 hours per week

Leeds

3-6 months duration

As an Volunteer in Learning and Development you’ll be doing real work, with real responsibilities supporting our internal training programmes. Our newly launched Virtual Learning Environment offers us fresh opportunities to deliver learning solutions using new technologies and help us end cruelty to more children. It’s an exciting time to join us and enhance your CV.

 

Not only will you gain valuable experience from your every day duties, you will also be invited to attend meetings and presentations to help you understand the work we do as well as access mentoring opportunities that could help you shape your career path.

 

We’re looking for Volunteers with a wide range of skills and backgrounds. A customer-focused attitude, good PC skills, and a commitment to professional development are key. We’re looking for individuals who have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and who are open to new ideas and have the capacity to implement them given the right support. Early responsibility will be given to those who have the capability and confidence to accept it.

 

This opportunity is unpaid, but reasonable travel costs and a lunch allowance will be paid.  This opportunity does not involve direct work with children and families.
